Frequently Asked Questions

Hilton Head Property Partners coordinates the people, schedules, property access, communication, and follow-through involved in caring for or improving a home. From transaction support and listing preparation to renovations, maintenance, home watch, and storm preparation, HHPP gives you one trusted local point of contact.
-
HHPP provides property care, project coordination, and owner-side oversight. We do not market properties, manage reservations, collect rent, or replace a traditional short-term or long-term rental management company. We can work alongside your rental manager when maintenance or project support is needed.
-
No. Your real estate agent continues to guide the purchase or sale. HHPP supports the relationship by coordinating inspections, estimates, repairs, cleaning, property access, move-in preparation, and other details surrounding the transaction.
-

Before work begins, we provide a clear scope and disclose the anticipated service-provider costs and HHPP management fee separately. You can review and approve the work with a clear understanding of what you are paying for.
-
HHPP selects service providers based on experience, reliability, responsiveness, quality of work, and familiarity with Lowcountry properties. We prioritize professionals who communicate clearly, arrive as promised, and consistently stand behind their work.
-
When a trade or project requires professional licensing, HHPP works to identify appropriately licensed and insured providers. Requirements can vary by service, so credentials and project-specific qualifications are reviewed as part of the selection process.
-
Yes. Remote ownership is one of the primary reasons homeowners work with HHPP. We can coordinate access, meet service providers, monitor progress, provide photographs and updates, and manage the details through one clear line of communication.
-
Cosmetic renovation management covers non-permitted improvements such as painting, flooring, fixture updates, landscaping, furniture installation, and similar projects.
Licensed renovation oversight is intended for larger or permitted work involving licensed contractors, inspections, structural changes, or multiple specialized trades. HHPP provides owner-side coordination and oversight but does not perform work that legally requires a contractor’s license unless properly licensed to do so.
-
Yes. If you already have providers you know and trust, HHPP can coordinate with them. We will begin by reviewing your current vendor relationships, service schedules, property needs, and available documentation.
-
Foundations Care is designed for homeowners who need help building a dependable local service network. HHPP sources, vets, organizes, and manages the providers the property requires.
Harbor Care is designed for homeowners who already have established vendors but want one local contact to coordinate schedules, provide oversight, and keep everything organized.
-

The exact services depend on your property, care plan, timing, and provider availability.
